Toe Walking in Boys

by admin on February 19, 2012

Some kids love to do toe walking. In most cases this toe walking is irrelevant and it is merely a signal that they desire to be taller. Should the rearfoot has a normal range of flexibility and they also can get the actual hindfoot to the floor, they will most likely outgrow the actual toe walking and it’s also not likely important. However, toe walking could also be a sign of a fundamental neurological problem which needs to be thoroughly investigated to rule out. For this reason all cases of toe walking really do need to be taken seriously and reviewed completely.
